Lindens
Rusty & Onawa were active members at Quaill Springs Church of Christ from 2004-2009. The Linden's moved from Montana to Oklahoma so that Rusty could participate in the Biblical Studies program at Oklahoma Christian University. Rusty served in Rwanda in 2005, teaching university students at the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). Rusty and Onawa returned to Rwanda in summer 2006 to teach at KIST and at the Kigali School of Finance and Business, as part of a Quail "GO" team. During these times, God developed in them a profound conviction to return and use their gifts in service, while participating in the message of hope, reconciliation and redemption they witnessed in the lives of the Rwandese people.
The Lindens and their two daughters, Eveyanna and Salome arrived in Kigali in October 2010. Rusty serves as associate minister of Christ's Church Rwanda, focusing on university ministries. He has actively ministered in local churches for the past nine years. Onawa serves the Rwanda efforts with her design skills. Onawa has a
passion to develop community arts projects to promote healing and
entrepreneurship through creative expression. She holds a BFA in Graphic
Design from Montana State University and has worked as a design
manager/web designer for the past eight years.
