Jenkins

While serving as missionaries in the country of Uganda, the Jenkins witnessed with horror the 1994 genocide in the neighboring country of Rwanda where almost 1,000,000 people were systematically murdered over a 100 day period. The Jenkins moved to Kigali, Rwanda during the summer of 2005 to plant a church in that capital city. The Christ Church Rwanda (CCR) congregation has grown substantially with many community and national thought leaders regularly in attendance. The Kigali International Community School that also meets on the property has grown to more than 200 students from nearly 30 different nations.
